283Z Compact Excavator

The 2.8-ton 283Z zero tailswing compact excavator has a superstructure that rotates entirely within the tracks, enabling it to operate close to walls and obstructions without risk of contact.

The 45-hp 313 and 315 radial-lift skid steers feature the same unified design as other 300 Series models, as well as optimum stability, visibility and serviceability.

The units measure just 59 in. wide (standard), yet deliver rated operating capacities of 1,300 and 1,500 lbs. and a bucket breakout force of 3,300 lbs. Features include 10" x 16.5" tires for traction and flotation and heavy-duty drive chains that don't require adjustment. The 45-hp John Deere PowerTech 4024T four-cylinder 2.4-liter engine is rated at 2,400 rpm. The optional power Quik-Tach system provides attachment engagement-disengagement from the operator's seat at the push of a button.
